Packing roller for agro textile
- After the textile is rolled over and cut at size, the smaller rolls must be repackaged. This is done here on a packing roller where the sides of the roll are thermally shrunk to close it
- The 2 hot air systems move independently to each other to determine the correct position for each roll
- The plastic film is cut to the desired length and fed in between the end flap of the roll. The foil is sealed with a polyprop tape; 1 work roll and 1 spare roll for the plastic are provided
- After the sides have shrunk, a label can also be placed on the outside of the roll and / or on the packing film. Both types of labels are made on 1 printer based on input from the customer's ERP system; the label is automatically removed from the printer via an integrated ink pad and applied to the roll
