Innovation

Our client asked us to create an almost fully automatic machine that would make the production of large wooden frames more practical than the semi-automatic Handsaeme machine they have been using for years. Main objective is to further increase the production output and to improve the ergonomics. To achieve this, the speed of nailing was increased compared to the basic model of this machine. In terms of dimensions of the end product, this is the machine that can handle the largest dimensions of terrace frames (4.5m x 1.5m).

Flexibility & customization

The installation is designed for the production of large series, but with the possibility to easily change settings (other color, other dimensions, ...). The machine is made exactly to size for the building, and we even placed part of the machine outside in order to be able to smoothly load the finished products onto the trucks.

Safety & Ease of Use

The only operator required for operation is relieved enormously compared to a semi-automatic version, as the machine itself pulls the long heavy beams into position. In addition, the second part of the machine operates on the basis of a robot programmed by Handsaeme, which can lift and nail the deck of a frame in 1 turn, and then also pick up and stack the entire unit.
